Hydrophore

A hydrophore is a pressure installation which is used to keep the water piping at the correct pressure. This way the pressure of the piping is automatically and fully controlled.

The boiler is filled with air, which is separated from the water by a membrane. Drain valves are assembled onto the pipes which are connected to the the boiler. When the defined maximum pressure level is reached, the pump will stop running, which causes the pressure level to drop when there is any water usage. When the pressure level drops to a defined minimum pressure level, the pump will start running again. And thus one has water available with a defined minimum pressure level at all times. This minimum pressure level mainly depends on the height of the highest valve.
